Games Saturday 28th October 2017

Another dissapointing game for Penlan on Saturday away at Builth Wells when, due to work commitments, they had to play without front row cover and therefore, replacements.  Despite this the team put in a creditable performance, losing by 23 to 12.  They ran in two tries, one by Dafydd Pritchard and the from Paul Spowart who also made the one conversion kick.  Also played in the league was Ystradgynlais against Nantyffyllon which saw the home side as winners by 26 to 20.

In the National plate competition, Maesteg Celtic go through to round 3 by beating Llanelli Wanderers 18 - 16 but Pencoed were beaten by Penalta 58 - 10.  Brynamman v Cwmgors were postponed.
